1. VOTE. 2. GET FREE STARBUCKS. 3. FEEL GOOD, AND MAYBE A LITTLE BUZZED.

Our friend and alert reader Leigh sent us this coupon, and you know how we love coupons.

Basically all you have to do is perform your most vital and valuable civic duty (VOTE!) on this most crucial of Election Days and Starbucks will give you some free coffee.

It seems very simple. You vote. Starbucks gives you free coffee. The world is a better place.

If you haven't already, VOTE! VOTE WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT!! VOTE LIKE YOU'VE NEVER VOTED BEFORE!!

In case you can't tell, I've already had my free coffee this morning and then some.

  1. I heard this morning on NPR that Starbucks got a slap on the wrist for this promotion. Apparently it is against the law to offer any sort of reward for voting or registering to vote. All they can do is offer free coffee because it's eleection day, not becuase you voted.

Shame on Starbucks for not doing their homework. Cuz you all know that none of us would have voted were it not for a free cup of coffee. Now I feel violated.
