Me sipping my cocktails...

Starting with a 50 Plates Cooler and Spiced Lemon Drop. The cooler is made with vodka, tonic, grapefruit juice, and Aperol (Campari's less bitter sister, with notes of rhubarb and blood orange). The Spiced Lemon Drop is modeled after a traditional lemon drop, but is made with a spiced simple syrup and Chinese Five Spice powder heavy with cloves and cinnamon ... we decided that it tasted like Summer (lemon) smashed into Winter (cinnamon) and that equals Spring.
